1986 – 1990 British Aerospace ‘Craft / Technician’ Apprentice. 

Award winning 4 year BAe (Manchester) Craft / Technician apprenticeship, concluded at BAe Woodford Flight Shed’s as a developmental aircraft electrician on ATP MSN001 (G-MATP, pictured below), together with an Electrical & Electronic engineering (HNC) qualification.

Provision of Air Europa Express / Canarias ATP ‘equalized’ Line & Base (OEM) maintenance support (throughout Spain – incl. Balearic & Canary Island’s), on behalf of BAe Asset Management.

A380, MSN001 Body and Wing Main Landing Gear (development / engineering) support provision & ‘on-wing’ certification for GLG proprietary equipment. Establishment of ATA32 Ground Support Equipment storage throughout initial Flight Testing in Toulouse (in-line with the Airbus UK/GLG Service Level Agreement – SLA).

2005 – 2009 Airbus Technical AOG Centre (AIRTAC) Systems Engineer (Customer Services, Toulouse)
Provision of global Airbus ‘Fleet-wide’ technical support to customers, in agreement with departmental company policy and within the framework of relevant procedures and airworthiness regulations. Customer satisfaction being achieved by provision of answers in accordance with associated quality and timeliness guidelines.

Co-located within Airbus’ developmental Flight Test (EVT) dept., in order to facilitate;
– MSN001 (F-WWMT)’s configuration suitability, according to pre-planned FTR (Flight Test Request) accomplishment.
– Communicate / Liaise MSN001 Flight Test Line & Base maintenance occurrences/difficulties/findings and limitations, throughout associated MAP & Designated Certification Specialist (DCS) departments.
– Transverse liaison across various FTC Toulouse Production & Quality Departments, in order to assure developmental Grizzly A400M availability for test.
